Generous Holt sponsors and donors have treated thousands of children for parasites in Uganda! 

Last year, over 126,000 children came to a Holt Uganda Child Health Day! Just think about how many children that is... And for each and every one of them, the help they received was life-changing! 

The reason so many children come to these events is because this medical care is so needed. And they can’t get it anywhere else... 

At sites across rural Uganda, children lined up to receive critical deworming tablets, vitamin A drops and more — critical interventions to help prevent and treat malnutrition. Children who attended also received a quick blood test to determine if they needed additional supplements.

“They are no longer sickly as they used to be. They eat well and play with fellow children. I just thank God for Holt.” 

And for children who were suffering from painful and dangerous intestinal parasites, this care made an incredible difference.

This year, we hope to reach over 130,000 children at Child Health Days across Uganda. Because of this kind of generosity, each one of these children will be healthy and given the chance to thrive!
