Andy's caregivers describe him as cheerful, affectionate and sociable. He shows interest in the events that are happening around him. Andy also likes to observe and participate in his environment and learn new things about the world. Andy is an active boy, even though he has some physical limitations he loves to move and get around. With regular therapy and attention, his development is improving.

Andy needs a family who has good access to medical specialists and ongoing therapeutic interventions. Social workers recommend that Andy be placed in a home where he is the only child, or where he is the youngest child among siblings. It will be imperative that his new family can speak Spanish fluently and has access to Spanish-speaking specialists and doctors. The ideal adoptive family for Andy will also be well versed in TBRI® techniques, in order to provide him with an environment where he feels safe.
