Hayden’s caregivers describe him as a respectful, neat, sensitive and caring boy. He is responsible and always willing to go the extra mile in everything he does. He is a bright child and shows keen interest in the world around him. Hayden enjoys watching TV but also enjoys learning and can chat for hours. He will discuss anything from animal habits and drawing techniques to Bible stories.
Hayden loves cooking and helping in the kitchen. He also loves reading and writing. He writes stories or letters, is a keen journal keeper and writes his own newspaper reporting on positive stories in the care home where he resides.
In fact, some of his caregivers suspect that Hayden has above average intelligence that he doesn’t have the opportunity to fully develop in his orphanage environment. A nurturing and devoted environment would help Hayden realize his potential!
The ideal family for Hayden will be both adventurous and patient, willing to support his interests and give him a strong structure for exploration. They will also have access to good educational supports, as well as parenting and therapeutic resources.
