Adler Needs an Adoptive Family!

Outgoing and friendly Adler is six years old and waiting for an adoptive family! A $10,000 Families Not Finances grant is available to help find a family for Adler.

Adler loves music, dancing and playing outdoors with his friends. Some of his favorite toys are Legos and playing car racing games on the computer.

Adler, making the “I love you” symbol in sign language!

Adler’s caregivers say that he has a good temper and is polite and gentle. He gets along well with other children and with his caregivers, who speak highly of him. He enjoys acting as a helper and “older brother” figure to the younger children in his care center, often offering to walk them to their classes in the morning.

He is described as a smart boy, who is excited about life and learning new things! Adler’s caregivers say he is observant and a fast learner. His favorite class at school is Technology.

Adler has special needs including that he is hard of hearing. He wears hearing aids during the day and attends auditory training and speech therapy. He uses sign language to communicate. The best fit for Adler is an adoptive family with access to excellent medical and therapeutic resources and knowledge of (or a commitment to learn) sign language.

Adler would do well with siblings or as an only child. He understands adoption and has expressed a desire to be adopted. Could you or someone you know be the right family for Adler?
