Meet Yuki! He needs an adoptive family! Could you or someone you know be the right fit for this active and smiley waiting child?
Yuki is a fun and extroverted 14-year-old boy. He enjoys watching superhero movies and the Fast and Furious series. He is currently in 7th grade and is fluent in two languages. Yuki loves being active, playing soccer and going for walks. He is also a talented boxer and trains at a boxing school. He admires professional boxer Mike Tyson and dreams of being an Olympic champion boxer someday!
Yuki was asked recently, “If you could be any animal, what would you be?” He answered, “I would be a dog, because they are good and loyal.” He was also asked, “What do you wish for?” He shared, “I want someone to help find me a mom and a dad that are good and skillful people.”
An ideal adoptive family for Yuki should willing to maintain communication with his siblings. His adoptive parents should have experience with children and teenagers, have no younger children in the home and have access to educational support and ELL services. Yuki will be supported well with the use of TBRI techniques to create an environment of felt safety. An ideal adoptive family will have access to trauma-competent therapists and understand grief and loss.
If you think you or someone you know could be the right family for Yuki, please email our waiting child team at [email protected]!
