Yana loves watching YouTube videos of Asian bands singing and dancing. But her absolute favorite group to watch is the K-pop band Blackpink! She also enjoys drawing, reading comics and novels, and playing Roblox. Yana likes to be active and often goes to the trampoline park or rock climbing in her community. She has a basic conversational understanding of English and her social worker describes her as talkative and intelligent! When Jasmine gets into conflicts with peers, with reasoning and explanation, she can understand her wrongdoing and considers different ways of resolving the issue.
An ideal adoptive family for Yana needs strong community and educational support. Yana will need ongoing support to help with her education and emotional/social development. The family needs to be familiar with TBRI techniques.
