Hi, I'm Huy
I'm a boy, 3 years old and live in Vietnam.
Cao Van Huy lives with his parents, two older brothers, and a sister. Although his siblings have a strong desire to go to school, the family lacks the means to support their education. Huy's father is the sole provider for the family and works as a farmer in the fields. Unfortunately, this job is seasonal and unstable, which results in low income. Meanwhile, Huy's mother stays at home to take care of him. The family is currently facing numerous difficulties and hardships due to their economic dependence on farming and the large number of siblings in the household. Due to financial constraints, they are unable to send Huy to preschool. However, the local authority has selected Huy for daycare support from the Holt Vietnam program. This program helps his parents send their child to school and allows Huy's mother to have more time to work and increase the family's income.
