Hi, I'm Cao
I'm a girl, 3 years old and live in Vietnam.
Cao Thi Bich Mai resides with her parents and older brother. Her father is the only breadwinner in the family. He works as a laborer, with job responsibilities including planting bananas and corn, and planting and cutting acacia trees on a seasonal and unstable basis, resulting in a low income. Mai's mother also does jobs similar to her husband, takes care of Mai, and manages the household. Due to their low income, the family faces challenges in covering their living expenses, especially the cost of Mai's education. Fortunately, the Day Care Project of Holt Vietnam has provided financial support to the family, enabling Mai to enroll in kindergarten, and allowing her mother to focus more on increasing their income and supporting the family.
