Hi, I'm Cao
I'm a girl, 3 years old and live in Vietnam.
Cao Thi Bao Ngoc lives with her parents and older brother. Ngoc's father is the sole provider for her family. As they do not own any farmland, he works as a hired laborer for other landowners. His work includes picking coffee, planting and cutting sugarcane, growing and chopping acacia, and weeding the fields whenever he is hired. The work is seasonal and unstable, resulting in a low income. Ngoc's mother used to work as a hired laborer before giving birth to her. She did jobs similar to her husband, but now stays at home to take care of Ngoc and manage the household. Due to their low income, the family faces difficulties in covering their living expenses, especially the cost of Ngoc's education. Fortunately, the Day Care Project of Holt Vietnam has provided financial support to the family, enabling Ngoc to enroll in kindergarten and allowing his mother to focus on earning more income to support her family.
