Hi, I'm Cao
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Vietnam.
Cao Thi To Uyen lives with her father, mother, and younger sister. Her younger sister was born in 2022 and has not yet started going to school. She stays at home with her mother now. Uyen's father is the sole earner in the family. Since her family doesn't own any farmland, her father works as a laborer for the farms’ owner. He mainly plants and cuts acacia trees on a seasonal and unstable basis, resulting in a low income. Her father also sometimes catches fish to sell and earn some extra money. Currently, Uyen's mother is a homemaker and takes care of her younger sister. The family faces many difficulties as they largely depend on her father's farming income. The family needs help to ensure Huy's minimum nutritional and learning needs. They received financial support from the Day Care Project of Holt Vietnam, which enabled them to enroll Uyen in kindergarten. Her mother will send her baby to her relatives for care, allowing her to focus on earning more income to support her family.
