Hi, I'm Cao
I'm a boy, 3 years old and live in Vietnam.
Cao Minh Hieu lives with his mother and grandmother. His father's whereabouts are unknown, so he has grown up without his father's love. His mother works on a family farm where they mainly grow bananas and papayas. She also works as an acacia grower, but this work is seasonal and low-paid. As a result, his mother can't work frequently because she needs to take care of Hieu, who goes to school during the day. Hieu’s grandmother does jobs similar to his mother. Due to their low income, the family faces difficulties in covering their living expenses, especially the cost of Hieu's education. Fortunately, the Day Care Project of Holt Vietnam has provided financial support to the family, enabling Hieu to enroll in kindergarten and allowing his mother to focus on earning more income to support her family.
