Hi, I'm Hoang
I'm a boy, 6 years old and live in Vietnam.
Nguyen Minh Hoang, born in 2018, is living with his sibling and parents in a small rental house in Nha Trang City of Khanh Hoa province. His father is a taxi driver. Despite his tireless efforts, he is only able to make about $300 every month. After the coronavirus outbreak, his company’s business substantially reduced in volume. Additionally, his job has become more challenging due to the considerable growth in the number of new drivers. Hoang’s mother worked as a shopkeeper. She lost her job when the store closed as a result of the Covid-19. She stays at home and is rushing through her job search. Her husband's sole source of income is insufficient to cover her family’s living expenses, the payment on the rental house, and notably the costs of her child's education. Hoang is studying at SOS Nha Trang Kindergarten. However, he is at risk of dropping out of school. The kindergarten referred the case to Day Care Project of Holt Vietnam for help with education support for Hoang.
