I'm a boy, 15 years old and live in Vietnam.
Quy lives in a big and poor family with below-average income. His father is a fisherman. He is the breadwinner of the family. His monthly earning is roughly 100 dollars. Besides, Quy’s father has to take care of his aging grandmother who is a disabled.
Quy was a healthy school boy when he entered into Holt’s care.
There are 7 people in his family. His parents, his grandfather, his uncle and three of his siblings, Tin was under Holt’s care for 3 years until he graduated from Holt’s scholarship, his elder sister Loan 18 and his younger sister, Huyen 7. With the subsidy from the project, combining with their earning, 4 siblings are able to go to school. Understanding the difficulty of their parents, he and his siblings pay efforts to study and get high achievement at school.
