Hi, I'm Uyen
I'm a girl, 5 years old and live in Vietnam.
Nguyen Tu Uyen’s family faces significant financial difficulties. She lives with her father and two older sisters. Her parents are divorced; her father takes care of all three children while her mother does not contribute to any childcare expenses. Her father is a freelance manual laborer, earning between US$ 167 and US$ 208 per month. The children are of school age, and their tuition fees alone are estimated at US$ 418 a year. Additionally, there are food costs (approximately US$ 150-180 a month, including the children’s lunch at school), electricity (US$ 41 a month), water, and other utilities. The father works hard every day, hopeful to provide for the basic needs of his three daughters.
