Hi, I'm Anh
I'm a boy, 13 years old and live in Vietnam.
Anh’s family is in a difficult situation in Vien Noi, Ung Hoa. His parents have unstable jobs, and do whatever they are hired to do. But they are in poor health, have poor awareness, and are often sick, so their income is meager. The child’s mother stays home to farm and look after the children. The average family income is about 4 million VND/month, under $180/month, not enough to cover the cost of food, living expenses, electricity, water, and education for the children. The family's house, built by the grandparents, is simple and cramped due to their many children. It has only two small bedrooms, each about 10 m², a corrugated iron roof, and limited assets. Holt Vietnam provided capital for a sewing machine to help generate income.
