Hi, I'm Anh
I'm a girl, 9 years old and live in Vietnam.
Ngoc Anh’s family struggles in Vien Noi, Ung Hoa. Her parents hold unstable jobs and frequently experience health issues, leading to low income. Her mother stays home to farm and care for the children. The family earns about 4 million VND per month (under $180), which is insufficient for food, living expenses, utilities, and the children's education. Their house, built by the grandparents, is basic and cramped due to a large family. It has only two bedrooms, each about 10 m², and a corrugated iron roof. They received financial help from Holt Vietnam to purchase a sewing machine for income generation.
