Hi, I'm Nhu
I'm a girl, 11 years old and live in Vietnam.
Quynh Nhu's family has been low-income in Son Cong commune since 2020. After the father passed away in 2019, the mother became the sole provider for her children's education, working as a hired farmer for 150,000 VND daily. This unstable job yields about 2-3 million VND monthly (around $100). Nhu's brother, who is mentally disabled, receives 440,000 VND (about $20) per month in social benefits. Understanding their plight, Holt Vietnam assisted the family in purchasing chickens to raise for income, ensuring the children have proper nutrition and education.
