Hi, I'm Hang
I'm a girl, 6 years old and live in Vietnam.
The family is currently facing an economic crisis due to the declining health of the grandmother (69 years old) after undergoing a vitreous replacement surgery. She requires regular check-ups and medication. The mother (36) earns a living by selling clothes at the market, the father (37) works in fishing, and the grandfather (66) works as a security guard at a restaurant. However, their combined income is not sufficient to meet the educational needs of their four children (5, 7, 9, and 13 years old) and cover the medical expenses for the grandmother. The support of a 5-month daycare fee for the youngest daughter helps Hang to continue attending school and receive appropriate pre-primary education. This will help ease the financial burden on the family when the father needs to reduce his working hours to take care of the grandmother. The parents can also meet the needs of the other children in the family with a lesser income.
