Hi, I'm Baterdene
I'm a boy, 3 years old and live in Mongolia.
The family has three children, and both parents go to the Red Stone Dump Site to collect recyclable materials and earn money for food. They live in a small Mongolian ger near the Red Stone dump site. The father used to work as an assistant at a tannery factory, but he lost 70 percent of his working capacity due to an accident in 2020. The parents have no profession or skills, and the mother is illiterate. They do not own any land; the ger they live in is on someone else's property. Their other sources of income include child support and government food stamps. We visited the family for an assessment and enrolled their two children in the Family Strengthening Program.
