Hi, I'm Phanith
I'm a boy, 5 years old and live in Cambodia.
Phanith was enrolled in the community preschool by his parents. His age was right for schooling and his parents believed that going to school could help him prepare well for grade 1. Phanith lives with his parents and grandparents. His parents work in Phnom Penh; his father works for construction company and earns $600 a month, and his mother works in the factory and earns $300 a month. His grandparents grow rice and raise some animals to gain more incomes to support the family. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Phanith to study at a community preschool nearby, which is supported by Holt-International.
