Hi, I'm Liheang
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Cambodia.
Liheang was enrolled in the community preschool by her parents. Her age was right for schooling and her parents believed that going to school could help her prepare well for grade 1. Liheang lives with her parents, grandparents, and a younger sister. Her father is a welder, and earns $10 a day. Her mother works in the factory, and earns $200 a month. His grandfather is a policeman, and earns $400 a month. Her grandmother grows rice. Her sister is a baby; she is one month year old. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Liheang to study at a community preschool nearby, which is supported by Holt-International.
