Hi, I'm Piseth
I'm a boy, 4 years old and live in Cambodia.
Piseth was enrolled in the community preschool by his parents. His age was right for schooling and his parents believed that going to school could help him prepare well for grade 1. This family lives in their own house (5x7 meters) made of wood and concrete, and they have 2 hectares of land for growing rice and vegetable. Piseth lives with his parents, a brother, and a sister. He is the last child in the family. His parents are farmers; they grow rice and raise some animals to support the family. His brother and sister are students in high school; they are 11th grade. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Piseth to study at a community preschool nearby, which is supported by Holt-International.
