Hi, I'm Sariya
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sariya was enrolled in the community preschool by her parents. Her age was right for schooling and her parents believed that going to school could help her prepare well for grade 1. Sariya lives with her parents, a grandmother, and two older brothers. Her father is the breadwinner to support the family; he is a construction worker, and earns 10$ a day, but it is not regular. His mother stays at home to take care of children and grows rice. His grandmother is 73 years old, so she cannot earn any incomes. His brother is studying in the 3rd grade at primary school, and he has an atrial septal defect (ASD) and is treating it. Another one dropped out of school and stays at home. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children. Through your supports, Sariya can access to substantial resources, such as education, nutrition and other services that are important for children development.
