Hi, I'm Sana
I'm a girl, 5 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sana was enrolled in the community preschool by her parents. Her age was right for schooling and her parents believed that going to school could help her prepare well for grade 1. Sana lives with her parents, a grandmother, and a sister cousin. She is a single child in the family. Her parents work in the factory in Phnom Penh, and earn 204$ a month each. Her parents usually visit home. Her grandmother stays at home to take care of children; she grows rice and raises some animals. Her cousin is studying in 8th grade at secondary school. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Sana to study at a community preschool nearby, which is supported by Holt-International.
