Hi, I'm Mengly
I'm a boy, 4 years old and live in Cambodia.
Mengly was enrolled in the community preschool by his parents. His age was right for schooling and his parents believed that going to school could help him prepare well for grade 1. Mengly lives with his parents and a grandmother. He is a single child in the family. His father is a worker in Korea, and earns 1900$ a month; he always sends money to support the family. His mother works in the factory, and earns 230$. His grandmother grows rice and raises some animals to gain more incomes to support the family. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Mengly to study at a community preschool nearby, which is supported by Holt-International.
