Hi, I'm Bopha
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Cambodia.
Bopha was enrolled in the community preschool by her parents. Her age was right for schooling and her parents believed that going to school could help her prepare well for grade 1. This family lives in their own house and has land for growing rice. Bopha lives with her parents. She is a single child in the family. Her father is a house decorator, and earns 400$ a month. Her mother grows rice and raises some animals in order to gain more incomes to support the family. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Bopha to study at a community preschool nearby, which is supported by Holt-International.
