Hi, I'm Chivorn
I'm a boy, 6 years old and live in Cambodia.
Chivorn was enrolled in the community preschool by his parents. His age was right for schooling and his parents believed that going to school could help him prepare well for grade 1. This family lives in their own house and they have land for growing rice. Chivorn lives with his mother, grandparents, an aunt, and an uncle. His parents got divorced when he 2 years old. His father did not support him anything. His mother is a worker in the pour water factory, and earns 250$ a month. His grandparents and aunts are farmers; they grow rice and raise animals. One of his aunts sells sugar cane juice, and earns 12$ a day. This family has sufficient food to eat and better financial, but their children lack in proper education because the public school is far and difficult to access that is why they would like Chivorn to study at community preschool nearby which is supported by Holt-International.
