Hi, I'm Riley
I'm a boy, 8 years old and live in Haiti.
Riley is 7 years old, and he is in second grade of Elementary. His mother, being a housewife and the only parent who must provide for her children, does not earn enough money to feed the family or even pay for school. And to be admitted to other schools in the area, one has to pay a large amount of money which she does not have. That's why Jury and his brother are admitted to the school.
He doesn't suffer from any physical pain, he seems to be healthy, but he would need a psychological follow-up as his father's death has affected him.
In the area where Riley's family lived, there was a terrible land conflict that impoverished the residents, and many citizens were murdered. Unfortunately, Riley's father was one of those people who lost their lives through this conflict. With his father dead, the family, which was already living in poverty, is now facing a worse economic situation than before. With their family in all these difficulties, Riley and his brother Jury are two children who really need psychological and economic support.
