Hi, I'm Jury
I'm a boy, 5 years old and live in Haiti.
Jury is 4 years old, and he is in second grade of kindergarten. His mother, being a housewife and the only parent who must provide for her children, does not earn enough money to feed the family or even pay for school. And to be admitted to other schools in the area, one has to pay a large amount of money which she does not have. That's why Jury and his brother are admitted to the school.
Jury is very bright, jovial and nice to his pear even adult. His learning and integration is gradual.
In the area where Jury's family lived, there was a terrible land conflict that impoverished the residents, and many citizens were murdered. Unfortunately, Jury's father was one of those people who lost their lives through this conflict. With his father dead, the family, which was already living in poverty, is now facing a worse economic situation than before. With their family in all these difficulties, Jury and his brother Riley are two children who really need psychological and economic support.
