Socheat lives with his parents, a grandmother, and two younger brothers. He is a first child in the family. His father is hired to cut the grass in the community, and earns USD 6 a day. His mother is hired to cut the potato, and earns USD 4 a day. Their income is not regular. His grandmother is 70 years old and she carries with blood pressure, so she cannot earn any incomes. His 1st brother is a student in 2nd grade at primary school and another brother is 3 years old. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children. Therefore, Socheat needs sponsorship in order to support his education.
