Hi, I'm Sengly
I'm a boy, 13 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sengly's family is very poor and his parents left him since he was 3 years old. Holt has enrolled him in the educational sponsorship program to enable him staying in school and have sufficient food to eat. He is taken care by his aunty.
He has lung inflammation. He is often getting cough and fever.
Sengly lives with his aunt, young brother and two cousins. He has 4 siblings and he is the second child. His parents divorced and live separated from each other. Three months later, his mother decided to go to work in Phnom Penh. She never come to visit her children since she has been leaving and she never send money for her children. Auntie’s family also live in poor condition. She depends on selling some snake at primary school for living. She could earn about $2.5 to $5 a day so she could not support the need of the children. Aunty wishes her sister could come back to take care of the children in one day. Holt assessed the family and enrolled them into the program. We supported them emergency food, school material and school uniform maintain their schooling.
