Hi, I'm Sophaneath
I'm a girl, 13 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sophaneath was introduced to the Holt program by key community people because they are the poor family in the community and they want their child to go to school but they cannot afford the child's studying. She was taken care of by her parents and her older brother who took her to school and back. During admission, she had a cold. She never had a history of chronic illness. Her oldest brother is 14-year-old and he just dropped out of school because he has repeated class for 2 years already and he does not want to continue his study. Her second older brother is in grade 4. Her father is a motor driver and her mother is a garment worker. They have their own house; their house is made of wood, quite old. His mother has a problem with her kidney and she has a chronic disease.
