Hi, I'm Tran
I'm a girl, 5 years old and live in Vietnam.
Tran's family belongs to an ethnic minority and faces significant hardships in a remote area. She lives with her parents and three siblings, born in 2013, 2016, and 2018. Both of her parents work as laborers, taking on any available jobs, but their work is inconsistent. Her father earns about $111 per month, while her mother takes home around $63 per month. The family's low and unstable monthly income makes it difficult to meet their children's basic needs. With three school-aged children, they struggle to pay for school meals, causing Tran to miss school occasionally. To help Tran attend school regularly, Holt started providing financial assistance for her meals in early November 2024.
