Sadie and Ace Need an Adoptive Family

Sweet siblings Sadie and Ace need an adoptive family! There is a $10,000 Tahir family grant available to help with their adoption.

Sadie and Ace are very close and have a great relationship. They recently moved apart and miss each other very much. Sadie and Ace dream of being adopted together and uniting with a loving, permanent family.

Sadie is eleven years old. Both Sadie and her teacher say she likes learning and enjoys most of her classes at school! She gets along well with others and has two best friends at school. Sadie is diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and takes medication to help manage it. Sadie understands the idea of adoption and has expressed her desire to be adopted by a family.

Ace is nine years old. His caregivers describe him as very affectionate and helpful, especially when it comes to doing his chores. Ace struggles in school and is very proud when he meets his goals or receives praise and encouragement from trusted adults. Ace loves to be the leader with his group of friends. One of his favorite activities is playing Legos!

Sadie and Ace need an adoptive family who has access to strong educational and therapeutic resources and an understanding of (or willingness to learn) Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) parenting methods to build a strong connection as a family. The ideal family for these siblings should be open-minded, flexible and encouraging when considering Sadie and Ace’s future development and potential special needs.
