Niko Needs an Adoptive Family

Eleven-year-old Niko needs an adoptive family! His caregivers say he is always generous and helpful. The social workers who support Niko refer to him as friendly and outgoing, “a healthy and robust child with a sunshine-y laugh!”

He makes friends easily at school, where he has a stable academic performance. Outside of school, Niko loves outdoor activities like hiking and bicycling. He also enjoys playing computer games. Niko also studies and has been performing traditional opera since kindergarten!

Niko is in good overall health and appropriate level of development for his age. Niko had an early diagnosis of being at risk for dyslexia, but today he reads and writes at his grade level!

Niko is diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), which is managed through regular counseling. He previously took medication but no longer needs to because he is making great progress!

Niko’s face is hidden here due to country restrictions on privacy. To see more photos and learn more about him, please email us at [email protected].
