Kacy loves to smile! She enjoys playing soccer and volleyball and will show off her gymnastic skills. Kacy is very athletic, and she enjoys physical education and art classes at school as well as listening to music. Kacy needs a family who will nurture her interests and provide outlets for her athletic energy.
This young woman is motivated to perform well and responds well to positive affirmation. She is sociable, friendly and extroverted. She is a typical teen in many ways, enjoying social media and time with her friends!
Kacy is able to engage with adults and children in an open and curious way and she strives to present herself well to others. Kacy can also speak some English already, which you can hear in the videos we have of her.
She loves the therapist who comes to work with her! Kacy told us that she would like to become a therapist when she is grown up because she thinks it is a worthwhile profession.
An ideal adoptive family for Kacy will have older child parenting experience, be open, kind and loving, have an understanding of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and grief/loss and have access to medical, therapeutic, and educational supports. Kacy’s caregivers expect her to thrive in an affirming, structured environment!
