Ethan currently lives in a home for children under the age 8 years old. He lives in the daycare area of the home with 19 other children his age. He has been in this home since November 2022. Ethan allows his caregivers to hold him and show affection. However, he is not one to initiate any affection or physical contact. Caregivers describe him as a generally calm child. When he experiences discomfort, he will cry to tell his caregivers that he needs something. At this time, Ethan only repeats certain sounds or syllables and needs support when walking. But with the love and nurturing of a family, his future is bright!
An ideal adoptive family for Ethan has excellent medical and therapeutic resources. They should be prepared to provide lifelong support and be open to unknowns in development and medical diagnoses.
