Hi, I'm Tan Phat
I'm a boy, 13 years old and live in Vietnam.
Tan Phat comes from a low-income family. After the divorce, his father abandoned them and never returned. Now, Phat's mother raises her two boys alone as the sole breadwinner, working as a day laborer at a mango cake company. She peels and slices mangos for dried mango production, but her seasonal job offers unstable pay. Additionally, she collects and sells shellfish. Her combined earnings fall short of meeting their needs, including school supplies. Struggling to make ends meet, she sought ways to increase her income. Luckily, she received financial help from our FPR program to start a flower-selling business, enabling her to provide for her family and keep her children in school.
