Hi, I'm Minh Huy
I'm a boy, 10 years old and live in Vietnam.
Minh Huy lives with his older brother, sister, and mother. His family faced a devastating loss when his father died from a stroke in 2021. Huy's mother became a single parent, raising three children alone. She is the sole provider, working as a day laborer in a seafood processing company. Shrimp peeling work depends on her company’s purchases and exports, leading to unstable employment and income. She barely meets her family's needs, with her salary insufficient for expenses like school supplies. Huy's sister dropped out in ninth grade due to financial struggles, affecting Huy and his brother's education. Fortunately, their mother received aid from our FPR program to start pig farming, enabling her to support the family and keep her children in school.
