Hi, I'm Phong
I'm a boy, 5 years old and live in Vietnam.
Nguyen Tan Phong was born in a family with 5 children resided in Van Thai commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi, Vietnam. His mother had an IUD inserted, but she got pregnant off the IUD three times. She decided to keep the children. Phong’s older brother, Nguyen Duc Duy, has autism and lives with his aunt and uncle in the south of Vietnam. He attends a class for children with special needs there. His father is a construction worker, working 20 days a month with the daily wage of $12 a day. His mother is a homemaker and part time sewer with piece pay. However, she usually does not have any income because she must spend a lot of time to take care of four children at home. Their residence is a small house built in 1970s; the walls are cracked and damp after rain.
