Hi, I'm Lina
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Cambodia.
Lina was enrolled in the community preschool by her mother. Her age was right for schooling and her mother believed that going to school could help her prepare well for grade 1. They live in their own house and have land for growing rice. Lina lives with her mother, grandparents, and a brother. Her father works in the factory in Korea, and earns 2000$ a month, and he sends money 300$ a month to support the family. Her mother and grandparents are farmers; they grow rice and raise some animals to gain more incomes. Her brother is studying in 3rd grade at primary school. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Lina to study at a community preschool nearby, which is supported by Holt-International.
