Yuan Yi was left in Shangrao and she was sent to Shangrao Children's Welfare Center by police on August 30, 2012. She was upset and cried a lot when she was sent to the orphanage. The orphanage doctor checked her and found that she was malnourished. Since Yuan Yi was abandoned, we don't have any information about her background or birth family.
