Hi, I'm Aminerdene
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Mongolia.
The family has three children. Both parents go to the Red Stone Dump Site to collect recyclable materials and earn money for food. They live in a small Mongolian ger near the dump site. Her father used to work as an assistant at a tannery but lost 70 percent of his working capacity due to a factory accident in 2020. The parents have no profession or skills, and the mother is illiterate. They do not own their land; the ger they live in belongs to someone else. Their other sources of income include government child support and food stamps. We visited the family for an evaluation and enrolled their two children in the Family Strengthening Program.
