Hi, I'm Phachom
I'm a boy, 5 years old and live in Cambodia.
Phachom was enrolled in the community preschool by his parents. His age was right for schooling and his parents believed that going to school could help him prepare well for grade 1. This family lives in a small house (4x5 meters) made of old wood and they do not have land for growing rice. Phachom lives with his parents and grandparents. He is a single child in the family. His parents and grandfather are construction workers in Phnom Penh; they always send money to support the family and repay the bank. The family lives in debt because they borrow money to treat their family members. His grandmother stays at home to take care of grandson; she carries with Uric Acid, so she needs to take medicines every day. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children. Through your supports, Phachom can access to substantial resources, such as education, nutrition and other services that are important for children development.
