High School Graduates
LA CRESCENTA, Calif. — Abigail has played soccer for the last 14 years, volunteered at her local animal shelter and the Special Olympics, and was an AP scholar. She will attend Occidental College and is interested in economics and government. CLEARWATER, Fla. — Alexander is graduating from Florida School for the Deaf and Blind! He will be attending St. Petersburg College to major in hospitality and tourism management. DELMAR, Iowa — In high school, Allison was a member of the National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, band, the golf team and on the honor roll! She will be attending Wartburg College to major in biology and secondary education with the goal of becoming a high school science teacher. METTER, Ga. — Angel is an honor graduate of excellence with the highest four-year average in math. She was the team captain of the cross county team and lettered all four years, three years in track and field and one year in tennis. Angel also participated in many extra curriculars and is the recipient of several awards! She is attending Georgia Southwestern State University as a member of the President Jimmy Carter leadership program and the Women’s Cross Country team this fall. Angel will major in accounting with plans to become a corporate accountant. SAMMAMISH, Wash. — In high school, Anna was the Colour Guard captain and creative writing club president! She was also involved in the National Honor Society, ultimate frisbee team, on the honor roll and received an award in community service. She will be attending the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana with a focus on creative writing. LINCOLN, Neb. — In high school, Anna was a member of the National Honor Society, the student manager of the Cross Country team and named the Outstanding Business Senior. She plans to double major in business and psychology at Wayne State University! MENIFEE, Calif. — Anna was the valedictorian of her high school’s graduating class! She was involved in student council, cross country and received the first place award for her senior service project. She will continue her education at the University of California, Berkeley, as a Spanish major with the possibility of studying law. CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Anna is graduating from high school with an academic distincton and as a Board scholar! She will attend the University of Iowa to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in global health studies. RICHMOND, Va. — Ann graduated from high school and will attend Syracuse University in the fall! PORTLAND, Ore. — Bret is graduating from Lindbergh High/South Technical School! In high school, Bret was on the varsity golf team and received his auto body certification. He will be starting his career at a hardscaping company. LAKE QUIVIRA, Kan. — In high school, Claire was a member of the National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society and was a Kansas Honor scholar! She will attend the University of Kansas College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. GRAND TERRACE, Calif. — Christine was the salutatorian of her class and the recipient of a presidential award of excellence. She was also a leadership student and involved with the Associated Student Body. She plans to attend the University of California Santa Barbara to major in chemistry. YORK, Pa. — Christina plans to get liensed as a CNA before going to college for a Nursing Degree! She will then attend graduate school to pursue a career in Special Education. LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Chloe graduated with high honors from high school, where she was in the AP Academy and was a varsity swimmer and cheeleader. She plans to attend the University of Nevada to study environmental science and will be a member of the 2021-22 UNR cheer team. She was on the principal’s academic list and was involved in the theater production program! She will be attending the University of California San Diego to pursue a major in creative writing. SIOUX RAPIDS, Iowa — Carter was a four-year letter winner in basketball and due to COVID-19 a three-year letter winner in gold. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and recognized by Illinois High School Association for his scholastic achivements. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska, Lincoln to major in biomedical science and prepare for a career as a radiologist. MORGAN HILL, Calif. — Caroline graduated with high honors and an academic achievement award from her high school! She was involved in the California Scholarship Federation, art club, drama society, the local Youth Action Council, Warriors Against Vaping & E-Cigarettes and was a volunteer at the Community Kitchen & Morgan Hill Police Department. She will be attending the University of California, San Diego, to in marine biology and minor in art! TEMECULA, Calif. — Carly played soccer for four years, was a Pathway Scholarship recipient, received a Golden State Seal Merit Diploma and was a member of the California Scholarship Federation! She plans to attend California State University Pomona to major in environmental science. BRYON CENTER, Mich. — Camden played soccer all four years of high school, and particpated in the marching band and concert band for two years! He will attend Cornerstone University to study business and will play on the men’s volleyball team. EAGLE, Idaho — Callie is graduating from high school one year early! She was on the student council and participated in aerial silks. Callie will be majoring in Pre-Nursing at Boise State University with the goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. MOORESTOWN, N.J. — In high school, Bridget played piano, volleyball and did gymnastics! She was also on the track team and her event was the pole vault. Bridget will attend Syracuse University to major in biomedical engineering! MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — Dana will be attending Chemeketa Community College to study early childhood education! MANSFIELD, Mass. — Daniel graduated from high school and is attending Plymouth State Universityto major in Computer Science! HAMILTON, N.Y. — In high school, Dora was a member of the National Honors Society, Amnesty International, the track team, orchestra (violin), jazz band (piano), the chorus and Masquers. She was the first place winner in Heddy Kilian empire state competition (voice) and the first place winner in CNYMAT competition (voice) as well as the recipient of the Molly Ramshaw award for dramatics, Hance Memorial scholarship and Shenkel Memorial scholarship. She will attend Mount Holyoke College to study international relations and foreign languages. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — In high school, Elijah was involved in lacrosse, cross country, track & field and youth ministries! He also enjoyed AV technology and percussion in band. He plans to attend Colorado Mesa University this fall. TEMECULA, Calif. — Ella played field hockey, track and field, lacrosse and basketball! She is graduating from high school as a Summa Cum Laude AP scholar with distinction and a Golden State Seal Merit Diploma. She was also a member of the California Scholarship Federation. Ella plans to attend the University of California, San Diego this fall! LA GRANDE, Ore. — After overcoming the challenges of an unusual school year affected by the pandemic, Emily-ahn plans to attend Utah State University to major in veterinary science! AUGUSTA, Wis. — Emily is graduating in the valedictorian class from her high school, where she was a member of the band (pep and honors), student council, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and yearbook team. She received A-Honor Roll recognition, the perfect attendance award and Student of Excellence award. She will attend the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire to major in education! KENNER, La. — Emily graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and plans to continue her education at Lousiana State University, majoring in economics and international relations! GRANITE BAY, Calif. — Emma is graduating from high school as a AP scholar with distinction. She played competitive club soccer, was on the track and field team and a member of the National Honor Society. She will be attending California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo as a D1 soccer scholarship athlete and plans to major in biomedical engineering. EUGENE, Ore. — In high school, Emma was the captain of the girls’ golf team and helped coach younger golfers! She also played in the jazz band, symphonic band, concert band, wind ensemble and Willamette Valley Honor band. She will attend the University of Oregon and major in music education! MERIDIAN, Miss. — Grace participated in Varsity Cross Country and art club in high school. She also volunteered in the food pantry at her church. Grace was chosen to participate in an early college program called Jump Scholars and will be attending the University of Southern Mississippi. She plans to major in health sciences and pursue a career in nursing. VALENCIA, Calif. — Grace is graduating from high school as a member of the California Scholarship Federation and the Medical Science Academy. She plans to complete her pre-requisites and explore different career options at a community college before transferring to a four-year university! JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Grace was an all-star cheerleader and on the president’s honor roll all four years of high school! She plans to attend the University of Florida. GROVER BEACH, Calif. — Hannah graduated from high school and plans to become a doctor. In 2021, she will begin her studies by pursuing an associate’s degree in biology at Cuesta College before transferring to a four-year university to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-med. DRESHER, Pa. — In high school, Isaac received the senior award for orchestra, the senior activity award for leadership and was a member of the worship band at his church. He will be continuing his music education at Montgomery County Community College and is exploring career options as a luthier. PRAIRIE GROVE, Ark. — Jackson was on the football team, played in the high school band and was a member of the homecoming court! He was awarded a full six-year electrician’s apprenticeship from Kimbel Mechanicals, Inc. and plans to pursue licensure as a master electrician. RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Jadery is graduating from high school, where she was a member of the California Scholarship Federation! Jadery is also bilerate and was on the honor roll for six semesters. She will be attending Point Loma Nazerene University to major in Nursing! CLEARWATER, Fla. — Javier is graduating from Classical Christian School for the Arts, specializing in violin, piano and guitar. He also played soccer! He will be pursuing a music major. NASHVILL, Tenn. — Jayci loves to dance and is working as a dance teacher! She will attend Columbia State University to study exercise science this fall. MONMOUTH, Ore. — Jessie is an honors graduate from the Oregon Charter Academy, where she was involved with jazz and symphonic band. She was also the team caption of the varsity soccer team! She plans to take a gap year before pursuing a degree in social work. MEMPHIS, Tenn. — John is graduating in the top 10 percent of his class after four years on the principal’s honor roll! He was also a Universal Cheerleader’s Association champion and a The Summit cheer champion. He will attend Florida State University as a finance major and member of the cheerleading team. KESWICK, Va. — Jonas graduated from Monticello High School and has begun an electrical apprenticeship program! GREENFIELD, Iowa — In high school, Jordan played the saxophone in the band all four years! She also participated in speech all four years, with improv being her favorite, and was the lead in the school musical her senior year. Jordan was a member of the National Honor Society and is the recipient of Iowa State University Hixson scholarship and of the full-tuition Multicultural Vision Program scholarship at Iowa State University. She will be attending Iowa State University this fall to major in hospitality management! TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Joy is an honor roll student graduating from high school with her “AG” requirements (specialized UC college requirements), the president’s award and recognition from the California Scholarship Federation. She also has been a violinist with the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra for four years! She plans to attend a Christian university and become a pilot. CARNEYS POINT, N.J. — Joy is graduating from high school and was on the dean’s list at Salem Community College during her senior year as a dual-credit student. Joy is also involved in soccer, youth group and her church ministries. She plans to attend Cedarville University to major in accounting. EAST GREENVILLE, Pa. — Julianna igraduated from Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Arts, specializing in dance! She plans to attend West Chester University to major in early childhood education. RENTON, Wash. — In high school, Kara was the yearbook editor, a varsity athelete and co-captain for the track and field team and in varsity marching band. She hopes to become a veterinarian. LONGVIEW, Wash. — In high school, Kelsea was a senior class officer and a member of the Running Start program. She plans to pursue a career in computer programming! CHICAGO, Ill. — In high school, Kit was a member of the New Trier Honor Society, National Charity League, RUSH Hospital Junior Board and on the honor roll. She served as captain of the varsity water polo team and on senior leadership for the junior varsity swim and diving team. She also worked as a lifeguard! Kit will attend Pitzer College to play on the women’s water polo team and major in pre-med/computational mathematical biology. SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Lainee is graduating as a varsity athlete in soccer and volleyball, a member of the Associated Student Body (leadership) class, Future Farmers of America Association and the National Honor Society. She will attend San Diego State University to study business management in the fall. EVANSTON, Ill. — Lia was involved in the National Honor Society, Asian Student Honor Society, Robotics Club and STEM Club. She was also a varsity soccer player and manager of the boy’s varsity soccer team. She will attend the Rose-Hulman Institute of Techology to major in Mechanical and Environmental Engineering. WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. — In high school, Lia was involved in gymnastics, track, ultimate frisbee, choir, the National Honors Society and Link Crew. She was also the tennis manager, a class officer and a six-time letter winner who is graduating Cum Laude. She will attend the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, to major in Kinesiology and Chinese, as well as join the Air Force ROTC program. TROPHY CLUB, Texas. — Madalyn is graduating from Byron Nelson High School! She plans to continue her education online while also working at a local bakery. LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. — Mae is an honor student, student council leader and state representative for the Indiana Association of Student Councils. She is an accomplished pianist and played trumpet in marching and concert band. She was also involved in theater technology, ran track and cross country, played basketball and volunteered. Mae plans to attend DePauw University where was admitted as a media fellow. EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — In high school, Makenna received the E-Squared award for math, senior award of recognition for print graphics and senior award of recognition for 3D art and 3D hewelry. Her art was chosen for a Chippewa Valley Museum display! She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin, Stout, to major in graphic design and interactive media. West Monroe, La. — In high school, Malynn was a member of the National Honor Society, student council, Future Business Leaders of America, the 4-H State Fashion Board, the 4-H State Citizenship Board and the gifted and talented music program for piano. She also played softball and was an All-American cheerleader! This fall, Malynn will attend Louisiana State University to major in elementary education. SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — In high school, Mia was on the volleyball team, chapel band, yearbook committee, drama club and school newspaper! She received academic awards for Drama, Humanities, Biblical Studies and Indonesian. Mia will attend Calvin University this fall! SAN JOSE, Calif. — In high school, Michael was a member of the school’s marching band, jazz band and varsity tennis team. He was also a part of the San Jose Taiko performing team. This fall, he will attend Asuza Pacific University to major in business management. SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. — Miranda graduated Cum Laude as a member of the National Honor Society and recipient of the Lab Coat award and Bilteracy Gold honors. She will attend Florida State University in the fall! CENTERVILLE, Ohio — In high school, Mya was a scholar athlete on the varsity competition dance team. She was also involved in the National Honor Society and on the honor roll, and received the Margaret Tuttle Artisan scholarship and president’s award for outstanding academic achievement. Mya plans to major in communication design at the College of Design, Architecture and Art at the University of Cincinnati. FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — Nadia was a member of the varsity soccer team, played clarinet in the wind ensemble and is a member of multiple honor societies, including the National Honor Society. She is the recipient of a scholar-athlete award, the Zell Miller scholarship, American Legion Award, Beta Club Gold Honor Roll distinction and eight semesters of governor’s honors. She volunteered with the Lisle Township democrative organization and her local church ministries. Nell will attend Boston College to double major in political science and film production. SOLON, Iowa — Nicholas graduated from Solon High School! He plans to pursue a medical career, starting with a degree in chemistry and pre-med at Creighton University. “DENVER, Co. — Alaina was president of Open Arms Club & graduated with High Honors. Olivia & Alaina were Co-Presidents of Sign Language Club, both participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and active as peers in the Unified Sports program. Lola will be attending the University of Washington as a direct admit to the Foster School of Business! VERO BEACH, Fla. — In high school, Olivia was a member of the National Honor Society, and lettered in varsity softball and track! She plans to attend Tallahassee Community College to major in communications and business. PORTLAND, Ore. — Pascal graduated from Franklin High School in Portland and will be continuing his education at the University of Oregon. (South Korea) BOWMANSVILLE, Pa. — In high school, Patty was a member of the track team and her event was shotput. She was also a co-captain of the tennis team! Patty plans to enter a veterinary assistant training program. LA GRANDE, Ore. — Rahel played in her high school band and was also a member of the soccer and tennis teams! She was also involved in the musical theater program, serving as the stage manager three times. She plans to attend culinary school at North Idaho College. RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. — In high school, Ryan was a sealbearer for the California Scholarship Federation, played junior varsity lacrosse and ran cross country. He was on the principal’s advisory council, Teen Court, Technology Student Association and PressFriends. He will attend the University of California, Irvine to study informatics (data science). LACOMBE, La. — Sarah is graduating from St. Scholastica Academy and plans to continue her education at Southeastern Louisiana University in the fall! VINELAND, N.J. — Stephanie was on the principal’s academic honors List for four years and is the recipient of the Gifts of the Heart scholarship and Rotary Youth Leadership. She was also involved in the National Honor Society, student government, KYW News Radio student program, Girl Scouts and dance. She served on the Interact Club as a committee chair and was a coordinator for the Red Cross Blood Drive. She will attend the Haub School of Business at St. Joseph University to study marketing and business. DALLAS, Texas — Suzanna was the captain of the varsity tennis team, the founder and president of the Rubik’s Cube club and graduated Cum Laude. She will attend Texas State University, San Marcos, for their pre-nursing program. VANCOUVER, Wash. — Sydney is accomplished at gymnastics and cheerleading! She will attend the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy to major in biomedical science. KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Sydney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish from Wingate University! She plans to continue her studies at graduate school. ELK GROVE, Calif. — Thi is graduating with honors from high school, where she participated in community service projects, volunteered with her church and was involved in multiple academic clubs! She is an accomplished dancer and is the recipient of numerous dance awards. Thi will attend Humboldt State University to double major in dance and kinesiology! DUNDEE, Ore. — Trent is graduating from high school and plans to attend Portland Community College and pusue a degree in computer-aided design! WATERFORD, Conn. — Vaishnavi graduated Magna Cum Laude from high school, where she played soccer and was the captain of the lacrosse, basketball and cross country teams! She received Cum Laude honors in the national Latin exam. This fall, Vaishnavi is heading off to the University of Maine to study zoology! TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — Vijay earned a purple belt in karate, participated in jazz band, ran varsity track, ran cross country and loves to snowboard. She minored in legal studies, international studies, and leadership and administrative skills. Caley will be continuing her education at Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. RICHMOND, Va. — Caroline graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She majored in communication arts—promotional illustration and video game development! CARMEL, Ind. — Casey graduated from Indiana State University with a Master of Science degree in speech language pathology! MASSILLON, Ohio — Christina graduated from the EMT and firefighting program at Stark State College! WYCKOFF, N.J. — David graduated with a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Colorado, Boulder! She was on the climbing team and surfing team, as well as involved in Phi Beta Kappa and TEDxUCSD. Kristin plans to take a gap year before applying to graduate school! PRINCETON, N.J. — Lynley is graduating with honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick! She majored in political science: women and gender studies. She plans to take a gap year before finishing her education in law school with a concentration on women, children and gender law. EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Makayla received a Bachelor of Art degree in instrumental music from Concordia College! In college, she was the president of the band, recipient of the J. Robert Hanson Leadership award and served as the devotion coordinator for Habitat for Humanity. She plans to begin her career as a music educator! Indiana — Mallory is graduating from Earlham College with a major in neuroscience and a minor in chemistry. She won the neuroscience award, voted on by faculty, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society! GROVE CITY, Ohio — Marlie is graduating Cum Laude from Otterbein University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literary studies. She was the editor-in-chief of her college magazine, “Tan & Cardinal,” and received the Cassady Award for Excellence in Creative and Critical Writing! FORKS, Wash. — Maya is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in human services from Western Washington University! She has volunteered as support staff at Royal Family Kids Camp for foster youth, was a small group leader for her campus ministry and interned at Children’s House International. She hopes to work in pre- and post-adoption services and as a translator forthe deaf and hard-of-hearing community. MARCUS, Iowa — Melanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology and minors in criminal justice and social and human services from South Dakota State University. She will begin her career working in behavioral services. AGOURA HILLS, Calif. — Nina graduated Cum Laude from California State University Northridge, with a triple major in business administration, management and financial analysis. She was also a member of the business honors program. Nina will begin her career at Amazon and hopes to start her own business some day! PALMDALE, Calif. — Philip is graduating from the Master’s University! He will begin his teacher credential program in August to begin his career as an elementary school teacher. LAKELAND, Fla. — Robin just graduated from the University of South Florida with a master’s degree in educational leadership and a 4.0 GPA! ARLINGTON, Va. — Sophie is a recent graduate of the University of California, Irvine! KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Sydney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish from Wingate University! She plans to continue her studies at graduate school. PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — Taylor plans to attend graduate school to get a master’s degree in mental health counseling! COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — Trent is graduating from Mount Marty University, where he was a varsity member of the tennis team! He will begin his career as a physical education teacher this fall. LAMONI, Iowa — Will graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in kinesiology and health, finishing with a focus on teaching physical education. He will begin his career this fall as an elementary physical education teacher! LANDSVILLE, Penn. — Xiao-Wei just graduated with a certification from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, specializing in precision machining and computer-aided manufacturing!
