Hi, I'm Sang
I'm a boy, 6 years old and live in Vietnam.
Sang’s family faces a difficult situation in Vien Noi, Ung Hoa. His parents hold unstable jobs and do only what they are hired to do. However, their poor health often leaves them sick, resulting in a meager income. His mother farms and takes care of the children. The average family income is around 4 million VND per month (less than $180), which is insufficient to cover food, living expenses, utilities, and education. The family's small, cramped house, built by the grandparents, consists of only two tiny bedrooms (10 m² each) and has a corrugated iron roof. With many children, space is limited, and there are no valuable assets. They received financial assistance from Holt Vietnam to buy a sewing machine to generate income.
