Hi, I'm Hadijah
I'm a girl, 8 years old and live in Uganda.
Hadijah stays with her mother and father in Masunkwe village. The parents are peasant farmers, who mainly grow crops for home consumption on a small piece of land. They are helpless and earn little for survival with children. They have no enough land to do cultivation of food. Sometimes they do casual labour to get income for basics at home. As such, they have no clear source of income to support Hadijah and her siblings especially in the areas of education, health, beddings, and nutrition.
Hadijah is doing well and fine. She has no health problem of any kind.
Hadijah and the family are staying in Masunkwe village. The mother who is also a breadwinner is a peasant farmer and un able to support the children. She finds it hard to sustain the children because of lack of an income generating activity. The child had started school previously but because of lack most of the education requirements like school uniform, scholastic materials, school fees and other requirements, the child is not in school. This has hindered her from achieving her ambitions in life.
