Hi, I'm Sumaya
I'm a girl, 6 years old and live in Uganda.
Sumaya stays with her mother and father in a grass-thatched house that they rent. The parents are peasant farmers, who mainly grow crops for home consumption on a small piece of land. They have no enough land of their own instead live in a small rental house. As such, they have no clear source of income to support Sumaya and her siblings especially in the areas of education, health, beddings, and nutrition.
Sumaya is doing well and fine. She has no health problem of any kind.
Sumaya and the family are staying in a rental house. The mother who is also a breadwinner is a peasant farmer and unable to support the children. She finds it hard to sustain the children because of lack of an income generating activity. The child had started school previously but because of lack most of the education requirements like school uniform, scholastic materials, school fees and other requirements, the child is not in school. This has hindered her from achieving her ambitions in life.
