Hi, I'm Kasamba
I'm a girl, 6 years old and live in Uganda.
Kasamba stays with both parents who are peasant farmers and living in a small house. Most of the time, it is the mother with all responsibility of taking care of the children and yet she has no job. She does casual labour to get what to eat at home with the children. The child and her siblings are not able to attend school due to the poverty of their caregivers. The child loves to study but the parents are unable to support the child with other siblings with education, basic needs like clothing, beddings and education.
Kasamba looks to be healthy and has no complication. She has not fallen sick in the last three months.
Kasamba is staying with both parents in a small house. The parents are peasant farmer who do casual labour to survive at home. However, the father has bad habits and all responsibility is in the hands of the mother. She does casual labour to sustain the family but this not enough to support the children with education. They are not capable of raising funds for the child’s education at School with other siblings. Kasamba is the third child in the family. She enrolled in baby class but school fees and scholastic materials are a big challenge.
