Hi, I'm Hamidah
I'm a girl, 8 years old and live in Uganda.
Hamidah’s parents both live with their children. The parents are new in the community, living in a rental place and with limited space for cultivation. They do casual labor in people's gardens to earn a living with the 12 children. Due to the big number of children in the family, the parents are not able to support the child with other siblings with education, basic needs, and other essentials in life. The girl loves school but is not active due lack of essential requirements for school.
Hamidah looks to be healthy and has no complications. She has not fallen sick.
Hamidah is staying with both parents but is not capable of raising funds for the child’s education plus other siblings at home. They are peasant farmers with no support and earn little from the casual work they do. The children have no beddings, clothing, and affording home basics is hard. When it is nighttime, it becomes hard for them to sleep because the house is small. Hamidah is the 12th child among the 12 children in the family.
